The T.J. Martell Foundation - New York
The T.J. Martell Foundation was founded in 1975 by Tony Martell and a group of his colleagues in the music industry. Though we’ve expanded to become a nationally recognized organization with several regional offices, New York City is still host to our national headquarters.
In New York, the T.J. Martell Foundation is proud to support two of the world's top research facilities: The T.J. Martell Memorial Laboratories at Mount Sinai Medical Center and the Columbia University Medical Center.
Locally, the T.J. Martell Foundation holds many annual fundraising events including a Walkathon, Family Day, World Tour of Wine Dinner, Golf Tournament, and Epicurean Dinner. We attract many participants from different areas and industries and bring them together for one common goal – to find cures and treatments for cancer, leukemia & AIDS.
Each year we gather our friends from across the country and host our Annual Awards Gala, now in its 34th year. For this very special event, each of our local fundraising divisions collaborates to honor individuals whose generosity and achievements have touched the lives of so many others.
